Available for purchase is a beautiful Slingerland Super Gene Krupa Model Radio King snare drum dating between 1956 and 1959. The drum is in very nice condition with no modifications. The drum features a beautiful unfaded Sparkling Red Pearl wrap which was real glass flakes, making this wrap pop and shine in the light. The drum is also equipped with original chrome plated hardware, with the one exception being the tension knob on the strainer. Looks like this may be nickel, however this mixing of plated parts was a common occurrence during the eras when both were available. The clam shell style strainer functions properly and includes the original extended snare wires along. This is beautiful for both the collection shelf or snare stand!
