Available for purchase is a stunning 1920s Leedy Elite model snare drum featuring a fully engraved brass shell. This particular drum most likely began its life as a black elite shell and was polished to the brass on the exterior, with the interior displaying the original black nickel plating. The drum is in beautiful condition with all original slotted tension rods, 4-point contact lugs, original hoops with the Leedy stamp on the batter side and Speedway strainer. The drum has a Gretsch snare strand installed which does show some bends in the strands.
