Up on the block is a nice vintage 1950s Gretsch Broadkaster model snare drum in the original White Marine Pearl wrap. This is a sought after early shell Gretsch featuring a 3-ply shell with stick chopper hoops and microsensitive snare strainer. The drum is in good condition with no modifications and all original hardware, including tension rods and 12-strand Response Gretsch snares (which do have some bends in the wires when un-tensioned). The shell is free of mods, cracks in the wrap or other issues. The strainer has been reinforced with a bearing in the housing that will prevent it from sheering like these often do. Aside from some chrome loss and pitting across the hardware, this is overall very nice drum.
