1950s Slingerland Gene Krupa Deluxe Radio King Outfit Marine Pearl : 24 13 16 14

The bass drum is in good condition with original Marine Pearl wrap over a 3-ply shell. The wrap shows plenty of signs of use, with some average discoloration, yellowing and minor checking cracks in the wrap. All mojo! The drum is equipped with Radio King streamline lugs, there was a consolette rail added to hold the tom which works very well. This model would have originally had a hoop mounted arm. In addition to the rail being added, there was a vent hole added to the bottom of the shell which currently has a washer and bolt installed. The batter side head is the original calf head that has seen quite a bit of use.

 

The floor tom is in great condition with original nickel plated hardware. The original wrap is in good condition, similar to the bass drum and other drums, there are signs of use over the many years. The bearing edges are original and the interiors are natural wood, matching the other three drums. New washers were added to the tension rods. 

Like the previous two drums, the high tom is in great condition with original nickel plated hardware. The Marine Pearl wrap is in nice condition, matching the other drums. Original bearing edges and interiors like the rest of the kit.
