This is a very beautiful late 1950s Slingerland Radio King model snare drum featuring stick saver hoops, a clamshell strainer and the original Gold Sparkle wrap. The drum is in very nice condition with original hardware and no modifications. The shell features a single ply / solid sell with reinforcement rings. The hardware is in nice condition with mild pitting on the lugs, stainer and slight areas of rust on the backing plate of the strainer (please see photos). New puresound extended snare strands are installed on the drum making this drum ready for the snare stand!
