Here is a very rare, highly sought after WFL 'Super Ludwig' snare drum in nothing less than collector condition. Ludwig introduced, what is now known as the Supraphonic, back in 1958 and titled the new chrome over brass snare, Super Ludwig. That same year, the 'Ludwig' pre-serial keystone badges were rolled out and the WFL name was dropped from these drums, making this drum quite rare. 

The drum is equipped with all original parts, including tension rods, chrome over brass hoops, WFL strainer, butt plate, round knob muffler and snare strand. The chrome is in outstanding condition - one scratch at the panel left of the badge and very slight chrome loss on the batter hoop above the muffler. One tension rod is slightly bent - however that said, the drum is incredible.
