1961 Rogers Dynasonic Snare Drum

This drum is a very unique piece of Rogers history. This was amongst one of the very first COB dynasonics ever made. Roughly 80 pre-badge dynasonics were produced sometime around 1960s and shortly after, Rogers began their serial numbers with 1001 (which is known to be a Blue Sparkle wood shell). These very first brass shells were manufactured by Gretsch. This is indicated by the lack of "valleys" above and below the 7 line pattern around the center of the shell, hence the name "Flat Shell Gretsch". An estimated 200 of these shells were made. This one being #1005, it is in original condition with all original parts.
