Starting in 1963 and running into 1964, Rogers began transitioning from the early 'bread & butter' lugs to the more durable 'beavertail' lugs. During this time, they continued to use their 'tall boy' hoops which allowed for a higher collar on calf heads at the time. This early 'Cleveland' era of production offered the most desirable Jasper drum shells from Rogers. This particular dynasonic landed right in this transition period as it retains its original Tall Boy hoops, beavertail lugs, fruit wood interior and clockface strainer that was found on the beavertail built drums. Beautiful and all original!
