A classic brass shell Rogers powertone snare drum. These are among some of the best sounding snares for the price on the market. The drum is in great original condition with all era correct hardware. The drum has a 'Tower' model strainer installed, which would have been used around the same time for wooden shell drums. The base of this strainer is exactly the same as the clock face and straight sided powertone strainers, so the holes align perfectly with the shell and no alterations were ever made to the drum. The chrome is excellent across the entire drum. This is a great affordable option to get a nice vintage brass snare sound.
