Available for purchase is a hard to come across, 2013 AK Drums Copper / Brass Hybrid snare drum outfitted with nickel plated hardware. These were a limited run of drums produced by Adrian Kirchler (Italian Craftsman) which feature a two piece metal shell, modeled similar to those early 1920s black beauty Ludwig drums. These drums sound absolutely incredible, with a wide tuning range, open resonant sound while still very warm and focused. The drum is in great condition with strong nickel plating and minimal / average tarnishing to the metal shell. These rarely come up for sale on the market.
