1920s Leedy 'All Metal' model snare drum in all lacquered brass. The drum is in very nice aged condition featuring all original 'Nobby Gold' hardware, original batter side calf head, original silk wire wound snares and a newly tucked goat resonant side head (using the original flesh hoop from the torn calf resonant head). The shell is factory finished lacquered brass which was uncommon for this particular model and era. Typically these shells were either nickel or enamel plated. Overall a great looking, rare example of an early Leedy production snare.
