Introduced in the 1928 catalog, the Turquoise Blue finish is one of the four available pearl finishes listed. That considered, Turquoise Blue is also one of the most rare finishes that was ever produced by Ludwig with only 4 examples (including this particular drum) currently known to exist. This snare features the 'Super Ludwig' model extended snare strainer system on top of the famous solid walnut shell. This drum is outfitted with all original nickel plated hardware and is equipped with correct Ludwig stamped calf heads on both the batter and resonant sides.
