1936 Silver Anniversary 'Super-Ludwig' model snare drum. This drum is finished in the original Gold Flash Pearl wrap, dressed with Red Flash Pearl diamonds. As a result of the dressed finish option, the badge has been located under the snare strainer to provide an additional diamond panel. These 1930s Ludwig wood drums were constructed from a solid mahogany shell and date stamped on the interior with the month and year, this drum being (3611) November 1936. The Anniversary model drums between 1935-36 featured direct tapped imperial lugs (tension rods thread directly into the lug casing), which are all present on this drum. All of the hardware displays its original nickel plating and the drum is equipped with new-old stock 1950s Amrawco calf slunk heads.
