Up for grabs is an outstanding 1937-43 Slingerland Radio King Model snare drum in the very rare 8x14 size. This drum is in great original condition with no extra holes or modifications and a beautiful 3-ply shell outfitted in original White Marine Pearl wrap. The drum is equipped with 8 streamline beavertail nickel plated lugs,  a 3-point strainer, triple flanged hoops and rods. The drum is free of any modifications. The interiors are beautiful and bearing edges original. The drum is equipped with all nickel plated hardware with the exception being a chrome plated 3-point strainer. It is possible (being the 30s), that a chrome strainer was grabbed instead of a nickel plated during assembly. Either way, the parts are era correct and there are no modifications. A stunning collector piece.
