1939 Ludwig 'Standard Swing' model snare drum in the 7 x 14 size. The drum features a white lacquer finished solid mahogany shell with all nickel plated hardware; including : x(8) imperial lugs; claws, tension rods, internal muffler, 'Standard' model strainer, and butt plate. The drum is in very nice condition with some areas of paint loss and shell imperfections. An interesting note on this drum is that the Swing model snare drums were catalogued with pearl wrap finishes, thus this original white lacquer finish is fairly unique.
