1940s Leedy 'Academy Street' Model Snare Drum

A beautiful 1940s Leedy street drum in good condition available for grabs! This this the 'Academy Street' model snare, which stood apart from the rest of the marching snare models in that it was the only 10" (depth) x 14" (diameter) size available. This particular drum is outfitted with original White Marine Pearl wrap. The drum has a triple flanged set of chrome hoops installed which are not original to the drum. The drum is free of any extra holes or modifications to the shell. There are two holes from the missing key holder next to the badge. This is a cool player drum and the right size for a nice sonic addition to a setup.
