1940s Leedy 'Academy Street' Model Snare Drum

A beautiful 1940s Leedy street drum in fantastic condition. This this the 'Academy Street' model snare, which stood apart from the rest of the marching snare models in that it was the only 10" (depth) x 14" (diameter) size available. This particular drum is outfitted with original White Marine Pearl wrap, including original inlay on the hoops. All of the hardware across the drum is original including the wire-wound snares. Calf heads were tucked and stamped with the Leedy logo to top it off.
