1929-34 Ludwig 'Super Sensitive' Model Snare Drum
Size : 5 x 14
Finish : Streaked Opal Pearl
Ludwig 1929-34 'Super Sensitive' model snare drum in the elusive Streaked Opal Pearl finish. One of three new models released in 1929, the Super Sensitive featured an internal set of snares mounted under the batter head in addition to a 'Sensitive' extended strainer system on the resonant side.
Streaked Opal Pearl was first introduced in 1929 and later discontinued in the 1935 catalogue. Given the few years the finish was produce, it is one of the more difficult finishes to across. The drum is outfitted with all nickel plated hardware including 10 tube lugs, brass clips and tension rods, single flanged hoops, and a batter and resonant side snare systems.
