Beautiful, 100% original, Ludwig Rainbow Pearl Standard model snare drum. Often referred to as Peacock Pearl, the Rainbow Pearl wrap was never officially cataloged as a Ludwig color. The big differences between the two being that Rainbow had more cooler tones in the color such as heavy blues while the Peacock was warmer colors. In this earlier version of the Type II wrap, the mesh backing can be seen through the slightly translucent wrap, allowing a bit of wood tones to come through the finish.
