Beautiful, 100% original, Ludwig Standard model snare drum in Peacock Pearl (Version II). The drum is in outstanding condition with all original chrome plated hardware. The batter hoop features a stamped "Ludwig" logo and the drum is equipped with reproduction white calf / transparent calf stamped heads. This finish was often referred to as Rainbow Pearl, however the Rainbow Pearl wrap was never officially cataloged as a Ludwig color (with the exception being a mislabel Lavender Pearl outfit in the 1933 catalog). There were two different versions of this Peacock II wrap. One version of the wrap was fabricated on cheese clothe, resulting in the mesh backing being visible through the slightly translucent wrap; however this example is without the mesh backing, giving it a very bold color.
