1930s Slingerland Artist Model Snare Drum

1930s Slingerland 'Artist' model snare drum in a beautifully aged Sparkling Gold wrap. The drum is topped with the 'Full Dressed' finish option which includes fully dressed diamonds on each panel of the drum. The Artist models features a solid bent shell outfitted with x10 tube lugs, double flanged hoops with tension rods and clips and the first generation 4-point strainer. This strainer dates the drum to pre-1935 as the strainer was redesigned in 1934. This drum also features the very rare 'Todd R. Harold" muffler that was used by Slingerland for only a few years. As seen in the photos, the interior of this drum was signed by previous owners back in the 30s and 50s.
