Here is a very cool 1955 Leedy & Ludwig 'The Aragon Outfit' featuring a 14x20 bass drum, 9x13 mounted tom and a 5.5x14 Broadway model snare drum. The kit is also outfitted with a 12x15 Parade snare drum in matching Sparkling Gold. The kit is in overall great player condition, with all original hardware, Sparkling Gold wrap, factory white painted interiors, and original calf heads. Each drum breakdown as follows : 

14x20 : The bass drum is in excellent condition with original Sparkling Gold wrap with minimal fading. The interior of the shell is finished with all factory correct white paint, indicating a birth date of 5302 (February 1955). The hoops are natural wood with original matching inlays. The hardware is all original and includes the hoop clip on spurs. These are installed on the same side of the drum to support the 13" tom, which is mounted off of the hoop. The drum is also equipped with original calf heads on both sides. The batter side has been painted, displaying a "Leedy & Ludwig" rendition of the pirate ship silhouette painting from the 1920s & 30s. 

11x15 : The 12x15 Parade drum was an add on to this outfit to provide a unique floor tom and snare option. The drum matches the kit decently, with more noticeable aging including some fading, spotting and checking. Please review photos. The drum has original lugs, double flanged hoops, and strainer system. The drum has been equipped with Leedy style 50s brackets and straight legs to convert the parade drum into a floor tom. These are nickel plated, while the rest of the kit is chrome. The drum comes equipped with an original calf batter head (which is extremely stretched out, recommended changing for playability) and a hazy resonant side head.

9x13 : Much like the bass drum, the mounted tom is in excellent condition with original Sparkling Gold wrap that has very little fade. The drum also has factory white painted interiors, also displaying a creation date of '5502'. As previously mentioned, the tom is mounted via a 'Double Link Hoop Clamp'. The drum is equipped with original calf heads.

5.5x14 : The Broadway snare drum is in fair player condition. The drum has original Sparkle Gold wrap which like the parade snare, shows signs of spotting. The interior is factory white painted and has various small stress fractures in the interior ply. The date stamp reads '5402'. The drum overall is structurally sound and ready to play. It is also outfitted with all original hardware and calf heads, which are very worn and stretched.
