This is a very beautiful late 50s / early 1960s Slingerland Hollywood Ace model snare drum. The drum features stick saver hoops, a Clamshell style strainer and the original rare Sparkling Green wrap finish. The drum is in very nice condition with original hardware and no modifications. The shell features a 3-ply laminated single shell with reinforcement rings. The chrome hardware is in excellent condition with no issues. The strainer works perfectly. The drum retains its original extended snare strand with correct holding screws. The throw are is a newer replacement piece built to the same design and specs as the originals. Overall this is an excellent, collector quality Slingerland snare.
