Up for sale is a 1963 Ludwig 'Auditorium' Model snare drum in the original Sparkling Blue Pearl wrap. The drum features a 6.5 (depth) x 15 (diameter) shell outfitted with original nickel plated hardware including 8 bowtie style lugs, a P-83 strainer, era correct nickel over brass hoops, and red felt baseball bat style muffler. The drum is in excellent condition with no notable issues. The blue sparkle wrap was an upgrade on these drums at this time as the standard offerings were lacquer or natural finished veneer. The snare strand is an unbranded replacement set and there are a few chrome tension rods that also look to have been replaced as well. Please review photos, great drum!
