1966 Slingerland 'Modern Jazz' Drum Kit

Available for sale is an awesome Slingerland 'Modern Jazz Outfit No. 9N' dating to 1966. The kit consists of an original factory family 20-12-14.

14x20 : The bass drum is in great condition with original Sparkling Silver Pearl wrap, strong seams, and original natural interior. The hoops retain what appears to be their original black paint and each have a full set of inlay, free from any cracks or issues. One hoop has a roughly 1/2" gap in the inlay at the seam. The batter side hoop shows some pedal rash wear. The bass drum has a Niles black / gold badge and is the only drum with a badge, typical of this era Slingerland. 

8x12: The 8x12 tom is also in great condition with all original hardware and beautiful Sparkling Silver Pearl wrap, free of any issues. 

14x14 : Similar to the other drums, the floor tom is in great condition with original wrap. All of the hardware on the drum is original and functions very smooth. The batter bearing edge has an area that was patched near the lap-joint in the reinforcement ring. The head sits nicely over and the drum tunes just fine. This could have been quick fix at a shop or the factor resulting from wood splintering or chipping at this seam. Please see photos.
